Right to Education (RTE) Uttarakhand Admission offers free and basic education to all the students who come from financially weaker sections of the state. Under this initiative, the Officials will provide a 25% discount to all students who belong to economically weaker sections of the state for getting admission in both private & government schools. With the help of this initiative, students from financially weaker households will get a chance to get equal education same as other students, so that they can get quality education and enhance their skills and mindset, and create future employment opportunities.

Eligibility Criteria
- Applicants must be permanent residents of Uttarakhand State.
- Applicant students must come from Scheduled Castes/Tribes, Other Backward Classes, or they are Orphan or Disabled Children.
- The Annual Income of the student’s family should not exceed INR 80,000.
- The Annual Income of Disabled Students should not exceed INR 4.5 Lakh.
- BPL Card Holders’ children are eligible to apply.
- Under this initiative, it is mandatory to enroll 50% of Girls students belonging to the Backward Classes.
