The Government of Andhra Pradesh State has newly launched an SHG Women Empowerment initiative known as Digi Lakshmi Scheme, in which the Government will provide employment support to all the poor women who come from Self Help Groups (SHG). Under this scheme, the Government of Andhra Pradesh State will set up more than 9,000 Common Service Centre (CSCs) across all Urban Local Bodies Regions in the state.

About AP Digi Lakshmi Scheme 2025
The State Government of Andhra Pradesh, along with Municipal Administration and Urban Development (MA&UD), has launched this remarkable female empowerment initiative called as AP Digi Lakshmi Scheme on Monday 30th June, 2025, under which the Government will provide employment opportunities to all the females who belongs from Self Help Groups (SHG’s). According to this scheme, the Government will set up about 9,034 Common Service Centres (CSCs) across the Local Urban Areas in the state. These CSCs will be operated by the eligible poor females who belong to Self Help Groups (SHGs), and these female operators will be known as Digi-Lakhsmi under this initiative.
This initiative is a part of the government’s ‘One Family, One Entrepreneur’ (OF-OE) vision, which is aimed at developing Self Help Groups (SHGs) for Small and Medium-sized Enterprises (SMEs). The state authorities have authorized the mission director of MEPMA to execute this scheme and provide the females training and financial help to operate these CSCs so that the females can secure a loan of up to INR 2.5 Lakh to establish their Centres.

Eligibility Criteria
- Applicant must be permanently residing in Andhra Pradesh State.
