About the Ambedkar Nigama Scheme

Purpose of the Ambedkar Nigama Scheme
The main purpose behind this Ambedkar Nigama Scheme is to provide financial support to all the citizens who come from Scheduled Castes (SC), Scheduled Tribes (ST), so that they can empower themselves by starting their own business and make some money for themselves. According to this scheme, the Government will provide a 25% Subsidy on loans provided as financial help to General Category Citizens and a 35% Subsidy to all the citizens who come from communities such as SC, ST. Eligibility criteria
- Applicants must be permanent residents of Karnataka State.
- Scheduled Caste (SC) and Scheduled Tribe (ST) citizens are the Target Beneficiaries under this scheme.
- Applicants must come from financially weak households.
- The Annual Income of the applicant’s family should not exceed INR 2 Lakh.
