The Government of Tamil Nadu State has recently launched a groundbreaking youth empowerment initiative called TN Vetri Nichayam Scheme, in which the Government aims to provide education and employment support to all the students who have dropped out of their studies due to various reasons. According to this scheme, the Government will provide education to all the youth who have not passed their 10th & 12th along with providing them skill training in 165 Courses through 500 institutions across the state until they get employment.
All those students who have dropped out of their education due to various reasons can now again start their studies, along with getting skill training free of cost, by applying under the TN Vetri Nichayam Scheme online. About TN Vetri Nichayam Scheme
The Honorable Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu, Mr MK Stalin, has announced this remarkable education initiative known as TN Vetri Nichayam Scheme on the occasion of the third anniversary of successfully running Naan Mudhalvan Scheme. According to this scheme, the Government will provide education and skill training to all the students who have not passed their 10th or 12th class due to various reasons. Under this scheme, the Government will provide eligible students skill training in 165 courses across 38 Industrial Sectors through 500 Skill Training Institutes across Tamil Nadu. Students aged between 18 to 35 are eligible to apply under this initiative.
Till now, the Government will release the First Phase under this scheme, aiming to provide skill training to at least 75,000 Youngsters in the upcoming year in collaboration with top skill training institutes and companies, until they get a Job. The Authorities have allocated a total budget of INR 100 Crore for the implementation of this initiative first phase.

The main purpose behind this Tamil Nadu Vetri Nichayam Scheme is to provide educational and skill training support to all the students who have dropped out their school due to unknown reasons. According to this scheme, the Government aims to provide education and skill training to all the eligible students aged between 18 to 35 years of age. The Government will provide skill training in 35 Industrial Sectors through 500 Skill Training Institutes, providing 165 Skill Courses.
With the help of this scheme, the students will be able to complete their studies without facing any financial issues because the government will cover all the educational and skill training expenses of the students. This initiative is launched in collaboration with top skill training institutions and companies so that students will get employment directly after acquiring the skill.
