About the Karnataka Mango Farmers Scheme 2025
On 24th June, 2025, the Ministry of Agriculture and Farmers Welfare has approved the implementation of the Mango Farmers Scheme 2025, under which the Government aims to provide financial support to all the farmers affected by the falling prices of the Mango in the Market. According to this scheme, the Government will provide financial assistance as compensation to all the eligible farmers across the Districts of Bengaluru Rural, Ramanagara, Chikkaballapur, and Kolar. The Farmers will get compensation of up to 10 Metric Tonnes (20 quintals) of Mangoes.
The compensation amounts will be transferred to the farmers via the DBT (Direct Benefit Transfer) Process. As per the reports stated by the Officials, the Government has allocated a budget of INR 101 Crores for the implementation of this scheme. Along with that, 50% of the cost will be reimbursed by the Union Government.
