PM Awas Yojana Deadline Extended Date :- The Government of India has now extended the deadline to apply under the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana (PMAY) to 31st December, 2025. All those citizens who do not own a home and belong to urban or rural areas can check the eligibility criteria and apply under the PMAY Scheme. Under this initiative, the Authorities aim to provide affordable housing opportunities for all citizens from every income group.

About Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana PMAY
The Honorable Prime Minister of India, Shri Narendra Modi, announced this astonishing housing initiative called Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana in June 2015, aiming to provide affordable housing facilities for all. According to this scheme, the Government aims to provide cheap and affordable housing opportunities for all citizens who belong to urban and rural areas. Citizens who reside in urban areas can avail the subsidy benefit of INR 2.67 Lakh through the Credit Link Subsidy Scheme, and citizens residing in rural areas can get financial help of INR 1.2 Lakh, and in hilly areas, the financial help is INR 1.3 Lakh. As per the reports, the Government has allocated a total budget of INR 3,06,137 crore for Financial Year 2024-25 to 2028-29.

Recently, the Government of India has announced that the last date to apply under the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana has been extended by the Officials, and those citizens who haven’t applied under this Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana can now visit the Official Website and apply under this scheme before the extended deadline. The last date of registration deadline under this PMAY is 31st December, 2025. All those citizens who are homeless and reside in rural or urban areas can apply under this scheme and get housing benefits provided by the Government.
